SARS - Fact sheet for close contacts of a SARS case in the work setting
  • Please be on the alert for a fever >38°C (100.4°F) usually accompanied by cough or difficulty in breathing. There may be chills and other symptoms including headache, malaise, and muscle aches. Should you have any of these symptoms, you should consult a physician. To help your physician make a diagnosis, tell him or her about your recent contact with someone who had these symptoms.  When you seek medical care, make sure you cover your nose and mouth.

  • It is also recommended that you practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands with soap and water.
